TYME posture series 6/6

Returning to Wuji: Sealing the Practice

Continuing the Tree Yoga & Meditation posture series…

We end where we began — in Wuji, the posture of quiet emptiness.
Here, the energy you cultivated settles deep into your body.

🔹 Benefits:
✅   Integrates calmness and stability
✅   Grounds you after the flow of postures
✅   Teaches the power of being over doing

Why I love it: Returning to Wuji reminds me that stillness isn’t a pause – it’s where the real growth happens.

👉 Micro-practice: After any task or workout, take one minute in Wuji. Let your body and mind absorb the stillness.

This completes the core TYME posture series.
Try practicing these six positions as a short daily ritual - 10 minutes can shift your entire day.

🔹 Benefits:
✅   Grounds scattered thoughts and emotions
Nourishes your lower energy center (dantien)
Relieves tension in the belly and lower back

Why I love it: This posture helps gather the increased Chi in the body.

TYME posture series 3/6

Post 3 – Holding the Sky: Connecting Earth and Heaven

Continuing the Tree Yoga & Meditation posture series…

Raise your hands slowly up to eye level and imagine pushing a large balloon away.
This is Holding the Sky, a more demanding position, where you expand upward while staying grounded.

🔹 Benefits:
✅   Lengthens spine and eases back tension
✅   Promotes circulation and deeper breath
✅   Balances upward and downward energy flow

Why I love it: This posture reminds me that growth happens both ways – rooting down and reaching up.

👉 Micro-practice: Try this for 1–2 minutes and feel your spine gently lengthen with each breath.

Next in this series: We will explore how to find calm within movement through Standing in the Stream.

Holding the Balloon: Awakening Energy

Continuing the Tree Yoga & Meditation posture series…

This is Holding the Balloon, a posture that gently awakens the body’s natural energy.

🔹 Benefits:
Opens the chest and relaxes shoulders
✅   Expands breath capacity effortlessly
✅   Creates a subtle energy field you can feel

Why I love it: Like branches holding sunlight, this posture teaches me to hold the energy within.

👉 Micro-practice: 2–3 minutes daily is enough to feel your breath deepen and mind quieten.

Next in this series: I will show you how to connect earth and sky with the third posture: Holding the Sky.

TYME Posture Series 1/6

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐝𝐨… 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥?

Most people think energy comes from movement, sweat, and effort.

But in 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐠𝐚 & 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (TYME), derived from Zhan Zhuang, we begin differently.

We stand. We breathe. We become still like a tree.

This isn’t about stretching or complex poses.

It’s about discovering a quiet power inside you - one breath, one posture at a time.

Over the next few posts, I will share the core positions of TYME, starting with the very first: 𝐖𝐮𝐣𝐢 - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.

In TYME, every session begins in Wuji - with your feet grounded, knees bent slightly, and arms relaxed at your sides.

It’s the posture of emptiness, where your body resets and your energy quietly gathers.

🔹 Benefits:

✅   Calms your nervous system in seconds

✅   Aligns posture for effortless breathing

✅   Creates the foundation for energy flow

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐭: Wuji reminds me that power often begins in stillness, not movement.

👉 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨-𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞: Stand in Wuji for 2 minutes during a work break. Just breathe and notice your body settling.

Next in this series: I will share how to awaken this quiet energy with the second posture: 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐧.

TYME for better bowel movement

You want your life to be jolly, jolly going;

Have you taken care of your belly problem?

Long ago, I was not happy with my job and wanted to switch to another department. When that did not materialize, stress slowly crept in, and it showed up as irregular bowel movements. Almost every one hour I had to rush!

None of the diets or exercises helped. This constant discomfort soon led to anxiety.

If our gut is in knots, life won’t flow; it’ll gurgle and grumble instead.

You know our gut has a mind of its own. Literally it’s called the second brain. And that brain loves stillness.

Stillness practices calm your nervous system.
A calm nervous system signals your gut to shift from “fight or flight” to “rest and digest.”
And that’s when the real magic (and digestion) happens.

No twisting yourself to get relief.

Stress-eating cravings dissolve.
Just a few minutes of standing still daily, and your belly will be jolly jolly!

Start small. Stand still. Breathe gently.
Your gut and your mood will thank you.

Struggling with deep breathing?

Struggling with deep breathing?

I used to get pain trying to breathe deeply - rib cage, shoulders, even my stomach.

I know that feeling. There was a time I couldn’t take a full breath without discomfort. Sometimes it felt like I was short of breath. Other times, depending on the deep-breathing method I tried, I would end up with a stomach ache, rib cage pain, or even aching shoulders.

It made me wonder - isn’t deep breathing supposed to help, not hurt?

Many of us face this. When stress, anxiety attacks, or sudden fear take over, even a simple breath can feel heavy.

But here’s the good news:
Deep breathing isn’t just about stress relief, it’s a healer. It calms the nervous system, clears the mental fog, and even improves digestion and sleep.

So, how do you breathe deeply without forcing it?

🌳 TYME - Tree Yoga and Meditation
A simple, time-tested method that brings you into stillness and naturally unlocks the breath.

No strain. No props. Just your body, your breath, and the present moment.

Effortless breathing isn’t a luxury; it’s your birthright.
Try TYME and let your breath find you.

TYME is a path to complete wellness without supplements or equipment!

Do not waste any time in starting this TYME!

Feeling scared to exercise in your 40s or 50s?

Feeling scared to exercise in your 40s or 50s? You're not alone.

Many who have tried to kick-start , motivated by social media reels, have ended up with torn muscles, aching joints, or nerve pain.

I have been there!

I wasn’t a regular exerciser until I turned 30.
Even in my 40s, I struggled with starts and stops, pulled muscles, unexpected pain, or just fatigue.
Then, something shifted.

I discovered TYME – Tree Yoga and Meditation.

And when I combined it with self-awareness micro-practices, things changed.
For the last 11 years, I have been consistently practicing—without burnout, without pressure.
Just deep healing and energizing stillness.

If that sounds like what you need, maybe it’s your TYME to start
