Long ago, I was not happy with my job and wanted to switch to
another department. When that did not materialize, stress slowly crept in, and it
showed up as irregular bowel movements. Almost every one hour I had to rush!
None of the diets or exercises helped. This constant
discomfort soon led to anxiety.
If our gut is in knots, life won’t flow; it’ll gurgle and
grumble instead.
You know our gut has a mind of its own. Literally it’s called
the second brain. And that brain loves stillness.
Stillness practices calm your nervous system.
A calm nervous system signals your gut to shift from “fight or flight” to “rest
and digest.”

when the real magic (and digestion) happens.

Just a few minutes of standing still daily, and your belly will be jolly jolly!
