Let me clarify that this is not a political post.

A few days ago, there was a discussion on how to overcome the deluding (deceptive) nature of sensory perceptions and thoughts;

We have all experienced that what we see, hear, and think most of the time is not perceived as they truly are.

The impermanent nature of thoughts and sensory perceptions deceives/deludes us.  Thus, meditation which is being in Self awareness helps eliminate the ‘Modi’ of senses and thoughts.

The discussion was in Kannada language where the word for deceive/delude is ‘Modi’!

Did you notice "K" is silent in the mantra also?

PS – The ‘K’ is the endless chatter that goes on in the mind. And hence it is referred to as monkey mind! There are umpteen ways to make that ‘K’ invisible. One of the easiest ways is to access the Stillness within!
