𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐝𝐨… 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥?
Most people think energy comes from movement, sweat, and effort.
But in 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐠𝐚 & 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (TYME), derived from Zhan Zhuang, we begin differently.
We stand. We breathe. We become still like a tree.
This isn’t about stretching or complex poses.
It’s about discovering a quiet power inside you - one breath, one posture at a time.
Over the next few posts, I will share the core positions of TYME, starting with the very first: 𝐖𝐮𝐣𝐢 - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.
In TYME, every session begins in Wuji - with your feet grounded, knees bent slightly, and arms relaxed at your sides.
It’s the posture of emptiness, where your body resets and your energy quietly gathers.
🔹 Benefits:
✅ Calms your nervous system in seconds
✅ Aligns posture for effortless breathing
✅ Creates the foundation for energy flow
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐭: Wuji reminds me that power often begins in stillness, not movement.
👉 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨-𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞: Stand in Wuji for 2 minutes during a work break. Just breathe and notice your body settling.
Next in this series: I will share how to awaken this quiet energy with the second posture: 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐧.
