The world is spending fortunes on tokens to make machines smarter.

The world is spending fortunes on tokens to make machines smarter.

Yet a single token....

I never paid much attention to the word token.

Until recently.

While learning Claude Code, I was astonished by the speed at which tokens disappeared.

Prompt.

Response.

Prompt.

Response.

Thousands. Then millions.

And yesterday morning's newspaper carried stories of major corporations spending millions of dollars worth of tokens to keep their AI agents thinking, responding, learning, and working.

Suddenly, tokens are serious business.

Funny, isn't it?

A token at a gambling den gets you into the game.

A token at the gate gets you through the door.

And now, tokens power the world's newest intelligence.

But long before AI, we were already spending tokens.

A token of appreciation.

A token of respect.

A token of patience.

A token of kindness.

A token of silence before speaking.

And unlike AI tokens, these don't appear on any dashboard.

In the Suswasa space, we practice perhaps the smallest token of all:

One conscious breath.

Five seconds of stillness.

A micro-practice between two busy moments.

A token-sized pause.

Perhaps the most valuable token isn't the one we spend on machines.

It's the one we invest in ourselves.

One breath. One pause. One token of awareness at a time.

The world is spending fortunes on tokens to make machines smarter.

Yet a single token of awareness can help a human become wiser.

One in 8 Billion - The Trillionaire

 1 in 8 Billion

Became a Trillionaire

8 Billion in 8 Billion

Can Become Peaceful

Elon Musk has become the world's first trillionaire, thanks largely to SpaceX's historic rise.

Think about it.

Out of 8 billion people on this planet, only one person has become a trillionaire.

That's a probability so tiny that most of us need not lose sleep over it.

But here's the good news.

While becoming a trillionaire may be a 1-in-8-billion possibility, discovering the space within is available to all 8 billion of us.

Musk reached for outer space through SpaceX.

We can reach inner space through stillness.

One journey requires rockets.

The other requires a pause through micro practices.

One may make you wealthier.

The other may make you calmer.

So if you missed becoming the world's first trillionaire, don't worry.

The race to inner space is still open.

And every one of us can win. 😊

Too Tired to Relax?

 I did a foolish thing!

Yesterday evening, after meeting a friend, I was dropped off on the way home.

From there, I had a choice.

Book a cab and reach home comfortably.

Or walk for about ten minutes to the bus stop and save nearly ₹300.

Feeling pleased with my financial wisdom, I chose the second option.

I walked to the bus stop.

And waited.

And waited.

And waited some more.

The bus finally arrived almost an hour later.

The ₹300 stayed in my pocket.

But an hour of my life had quietly slipped away.

I laughed about it later.

The next morning, I was sitting with a cup of coffee.

Nothing unusual.

No meetings.

No deadlines.

No bus to catch.

Just coffee.

As I sat there, I noticed something interesting.

𝐌𝐲 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲.

𝐌𝐲 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐧'𝐭.

It was still travelling.

Replaying yesterday.

Calculating.

Planning.

Thinking.

Worrying.

One thought after another.

It made me wonder.

How many times do we say,

"I need to relax."

Yet, even when life gives us a quiet moment, relaxation doesn't arrive.

Not because we don't have time.

But because the mind is still carrying yesterday and rehearsing tomorrow.

Many busy professionals are not tired solely because of work.

They are tired because their minds keep working long after work is over.

The meeting ends.

The commute ends.

The day ends.

But the thinking continues.

Perhaps that is why we can sit with a cup of coffee and still feel exhausted.

At SuswasaSpace, we explore simple self-awareness practices for busy professionals.

Not to stop thoughts.

Not to force silence.

But to notice what is happening within.

Because sometimes, the moment we notice, something begins to settle by itself.

Too tired to relax?

Maybe relaxation begins with noticing.
