Wonderment – An Unborn Question!
Have you ever noticed how a question, before it’s fully
formed, feels magical? Like a spark of curiosity, a thrill of the unknown?
Wonderment is like a question still in the womb - pure, full of potential, and
bursting with excitement.
But something shifts the moment it takes birth. As soon as we
define it, analyze it, and name all its features, the joy often turns into
worry. The unknown, once enchanting, becomes something we now have to solve.
I once experienced this deeply while watching a sunset. I was
so immersed in wonderment that I lost track of time. More than 20 minutes had
passed, and the sun had fully disappeared beyond the horizon. It was in that
moment of pure awe that something unexpected happened - I wrote my first-ever
poem in English, a language I wasn’t even comfortable with at the time.
That experience taught me something profound: when we allow
ourselves to stay in wonder, without rushing to conclusions, creativity flows
naturally.
What if we embraced the unknown a little longer? What if we
let wonder guide us instead of seeking immediate answers?
Maybe some questions aren’t meant to be solved - they are
meant to be lived.
Presence isn’t just about awareness; it’s about staying open
to wonder.
When was the last time you got lost in wonder? Share your
story in the comments – I would love to hear it!
And if you want to bring more presence into your life, let’s
connect.
