What You See Is Not What It Is.
Me: “Hey Suswasa, I always thought trees were green. But
at night, they look black. And at sunrise, they turn golden. So… what’s real?”
Suswasa: “Ah, you have noticed! The tree hasn’t changed,
only your perception of it has. What you see depends on the light around you.”
Me: “So, are you saying my stress, my problems, my
worries… they are like that too?”
Suswasa: “Exactly! What feels overwhelming now may look
different in another light. A small shift in perspective can turn chaos into
clarity.”
Me: “So how do I change my light?”
Suswasa: “Pause. Breathe. Just be. Let go of the labels and
the assumptions. See what is, instead of what your mind insists it should be.”
Me: “Hmm… so, if I just be in the moment, things
won’t seem so fixed?”
Suswasa: “Now you are getting it. The moment you stop
trying to control everything, you start seeing things as they are. And that’s
where peace begins.”
