Awakin circle

On January 4th, I had the opportunity to participate in an Awakin Circle led by Nipun Mehta.

Sharing silence with about forty others was a profoundly moving experience, and I like to share some takeaways that deeply resonated with me.

𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐬: Whether speaking or listening, silence forms the foundation. In our fast-paced world, taking a moment to sit in silence allows us to connect more deeply with ourselves and others. It creates a space where genuine understanding can flourish.

𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞: Often, we focus on giving, but receiving is equally important. When we receive with grace, we honour the giver and acknowledge their generosity. This balance between giving and receiving enriches both parties and fosters deeper connections.

These simple yet profound insights remind me of the power of presence and the beauty of human connection. I am grateful to have experienced this with such a wonderful community. Thanks to Praveen Kumar for extending the invitation to me.

Have you had moments when silence spoke louder than words, or instances when receiving gracefully deepened your appreciation for the act of giving?

I love to hear your thoughts!
