One of the ways of Doing Nothing

𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠!

This morning, during my Zhan Zhuang practice, I stood still (half an hour) and watched water droplets slowly fall from the leaves.

Each drop had its own rhythm—sometimes seconds apart, sometimes in quick succession.

No predicting, no rushing—just observing.

When you do this for a few minutes, it feels like inaction. However, with a bit of space, you realize it’s also "in action."

The paradox of stillness and movement, of inaction and action, becomes clear.

Stillness is always accessible. You just need to embrace the art of "Doing Nothing." 😊

PS - I did get a second chance to capture the doing nothing on my mobile after completing my exercise, as it is raining continuously!

Is this happenstance connected to Gopal Padinjaruveetil ’s comments on inaction and true laziness?

It seems like doing nothing reveals more than just rest.
