Are you feeling like a broken pot?

Are you feeling like broken pots—seemingly not fitting in anywhere—especially when everyone appears excitedly planning for 2024 and sharing their big dreams on social media?

Does it make it hard to look at ourselves without feeling a bit discouraged?

Well, here's a real story about a broken pot that's truly worth reading.

This story starts back in the summer of 2021. I used to keep small buckets outside for stray dogs to drink from, but they started disappearing mysteriously.

One day during my walk, I found a broken pot and decided to bring it home. I patched it up with cement and turned it into a new water source for stray animals. But in March the next year, that pot vanished too. I don't know why someone took it or what they used it for.

Then, I stumbled upon another broken pot. This time, I cemented it firmly onto a stone block to keep it safe. It's still there, serving its purpose, although cleaning it is a bit of a hassle.

Thinking about these broken pots, I realized something important. Even though they were broken, they still had value and could be useful. That pot secured with cement showed me how precious the space within is. And that got me thinking about people who feel broken – just like those pots, we all have something valuable inside us, even if it takes a bit of effort to hold it together.

So, if you're feeling like a broken pot, know that there's something precious within you too. Maybe it takes a little work to keep it secured, but that space inside could be the most valuable thing you have to offer.
