Senorita - The Present moment!

 

Hello friends,

This is the second video in the series of songs of stillness!

The beautiful song ‘Senorita’ from Zindagi Na milegi Dobara is another favourite of mine with pointers to deeper dimensions!

"Who are you

where have you been

you know I've moved all heaven and earth

and couldn't find you

you arrive today

so suddenly

and you give meaning to my whole life with your love”

 

This first stanza of the song is actually PRESENT MOMENT speaking in the form of Senorita in Spanish!

 The PRESENT MOMENT is full of love and joyfulness. We all have experienced it a bit here and bit there but unable to decipher how to get there!

 We are capable of getting into that Space of PRESENT MOMENT through our sensations in the body, awareness of sensory perceptions, understanding the nature of thoughts and awareness of arising emotions!

 However, we are feeling present moment in bits and pieces and unable to decode how to be in that space, which is available all the time!

 And the second stanza of the song which is in Hindi depicts that dilemma!

“I do not know or understand

what you have said to me just now, senorita

but even then, I don't know why

I like every word I heard, senorita”

Isn’t it our experience that we find joy in our day to day little things we do but somehow miss out on how to get there!

Now, let’s look at the Senorita’s answer in Spanish!

And that is PRESENT MOMENT speaking!

“do not look away from me

always stay so close to me”

Did you notice the stillness and silence in the song before this answer?

 Staying close to the Space which is all around, through stillness of body and mind is the secret to stay in presence!

That’s the way to be in wellness and joyfulness always and the theme is

DON’T DO MEDITATION, BE IN MEDITATION!
