Sit somewhere comfortable and close your eyes.
Now, listen to ALL the sounds around you. Do not strain yourself to hear the sounds.
Just listen to all the sounds happening around you.
Do not get attracted to any sound or do not try to reject any sound.
Keep listening to all the sounds around you!
If your thoughts start analysing the nature of sounds, gently cut them off and return to simply listening.
You are listening to the sound of Silence, sound silence!
So easy, right?
