In a bustling market, a curious merchant overheard whispers of a hidden treasure in the nearby mountains. Determined to find it, he embarked on a journey guided by an ancient map. After many days of hiking, he finally reached the secluded village rumoured to hold the treasure.

 

As he approached, the merchant was greeted by the villagers, known for their wisdom and self-awareness. The merchant inquired, “Can you show me where the village's treasure is hidden?”

 

The village elder replied, "You can SAMPLE, but not for free."

 

Perplexed, the merchant inquired, "What do you mean, 'not for free'?"

 

The elder invited the merchant to a tranquil garden. There, he pointed to a beautiful tree adorned with exquisite fruit and said, "This tree bears the fruit of wisdom, and it is freely available for all. However, true understanding comes not from what is free but from the effort you invest."

 

The merchant realized the profound lesson. In the world, many things are free, but the most valuable treasures require dedication and commitment.

 

Just as the merchant understood that the priceless fruit of wisdom could not be acquired without effort, the same is true for self-awareness. To SAMPLE the depths of self-awareness, you must be willing to invest your time, energy, and intention.
