Barty is a
multi-talented sportsperson, having played professional cricket and won a Golf
tournament too!
Barty has
set a very high benchmark on Self Awareness!
In her
video message, this is what she says –
“Success
for me is knowing that I’ve given absolutely everything, everything I can. I am
fulfilled, I am happy and I know how much work it takes to bring the best out
of yourself. It’s just I don’t have anymore. I don’t have the physical drive,
the emotional want and the kind of everything it takes to challenge yourself at
the very top level anymore”
That’s a wonderful message, isn’t it?
Normally we
set the goal, hit the goal, but go all out chasing more and more goals without
listening to our body and burn out happens!
