THE WAR WITHIN! (Other perspective and another dimension)

Social media is awash with the messages/posts of all kinds about the recent happenings with respect to friction between India and Pakistan.

Many persons are somehow getting programmed to be more nationalist and in that frenzy, just dismissing or even becoming aggressive (rather regressive) about ‘other perspectives’.

Are we not bound by humanism first among all other isms?

Is it not humanism, the first one to be protected and respected?

Nationalism is subject to change. Changing citizenship has become the norm in this era of global village concept. Religion can also be changed at will. We can even learn and be proficient with the new culture.

Being Human is fundamental and nationalism, religiosity and cultures are the tools to establish that humanism.

So we can use this extraordinary situation to look within and be aware of why those social media messages bring up emotions like hatred and disgust, rage and retribution, love and peace, etc.

These messages are really helping us to have a measure of all these emotions anchored deep down within. That’s why they get triggered and surface up!

So, here is a great chance to know of inner being by just becoming aware of emotions that are getting triggered by each message/post read and forwarded!

AND THE SHIFT HAPPENS!

SWACHH MANAS LEADS TO NOT ONLY SWACHH BHARAT BUT SWACHH UNIVERSE!!

A frenzy reaction and soul searching inaction both are no good to humanism. But a balanced and calm response in any form is definitely needed. That is what the Nation leadership as shown. Extremes are everywhere to balance out...
