SUSWASA'S JUICE.

Suswasa is a simplistic guy who looks like any neighborhood person we come across at city bus stations or vegetable market place. But his looks are deceptive. Though he is a man of deep insights and immense knowledge, the way he shares his thoughts appeals to people across the spectrum – layman to erudite.

His explanation of Enlightenment on which endless debates go on in spiritual circles proves the point.
He uses Einstein’s famous formula E = mc2, where E is enlightenment, m is materialistic life and c is consciousness. Suswasa further clarifies that to sustain life we need food, water and shelter which are all material. And only humans are aware of their consciousness. Therefore leading materialistic life with heightened consciousness is nothing but enlightenment!

He strongly believes in being human being! And nothing else.

One day while Suswasa was addressing a gathering of about hundred persons, one of the audiences interrupted him; “Sir, many times you have told that you too come under the influence of emotions, juggle with interpersonal relationships, and have health issues like all of us. Then how is that we don’t perceive happiness as you do?”

“I have been expecting this question ever since I shared the formulae of thought world and enlightenment” replied Suswasa. Then he opened a small bag and spread out salt and pepper dispensers, bowl of sugar, some essence bottles, lemon, ginger and a bottle of water on the table. “How each one of them tastes?” Suswasa asked the audience.

“Salty, spicy, pungent, sweet, bitter, tasteless, and sour”: as these replies started coming from the audience, smiling Suswasa said “Though each one of them tastes differently, they all become part of the yummy juice when mixed in proper proportion.

Similarly health, wealth, behavior, attitude, emotions and interpersonal relationships are essential ingredients of juice called life. And finding out the right proportion is nothing but living life with awareness just like how we keep sipping juice and adjust ingredients till we get the right taste!”

A long round of applause echoed in the auditorium.

We have been having a heat wave here in Chicago. The juice really quenched the thirst. Very well written. How do you come up with such beautiful thoughts? Anyway, thoroughly enjoyed it.
