Good sense mail

You are all aware of the incidents by ‘Rama Sene’ and other self-proclaimed saviours of Hindu culture. These misguided people, in the name of fighting Taliban and such religious extremists are becoming religious extremists themselves.
The irony is, these so called saviours of Hinduism quote Swami Vivekananda extensively and justify their vandalism.

Let us look at what Swami Vivekananda has said about protecting women.

“Who are you to solve women’s problems? Are you the Lord God that you should rule over every widow and every woman? Hands off! They will solve their own problems. Educate your women first and leave them to themselves, then they will tell you what reform are necessary for them.”
