Micro practices help deal with stress in extreme situations too!

 Recently I got some advice on how to do meditation.

 

This came in the form of a comment on one of my posts.

 

I am reproducing the same.

 

“Mr Subramani please try attending coaching class. You should be engrossed with a mantra or your breathing to get maximum benefit. Initially you are bound to have diversions. Ignore them and persist on being preoccupied with mantra. If you are disturbed due to adjoining noises, you can do at 5 am in the morning”

 

That is a well-intentioned message.

 

However, it missed the essence of the post that Meditation is Beingness, being in the present moment.

 

When meditation is approached through Beingness -  time, place and situations do not matter!

 

We can be in meditation at any time, any place, and in any situation!

 

Also, Meditation can happen without any elaborate Dos & Don’ts and without any fear factors and restrictions!

 

That is the magic of micro practices!
