Hodophile

Recently, I came across a beautiful word – hodophile - one who loves to travel.

And that led to a stream of thoughts...

It is not about flights or destinations but about this journey of life, work, growth, and rest.

Am I a hodophile in that sense?

Do I truly love this journey?

I have come a long way. There is still a long road ahead.

Am I okay with the road I have taken - my profession, my choices?

Am I accepting the changing road conditions - the effort, the challenges, the shifting pace?

Am I comfortable with the halting places - the still patches, the pauses in progress?

Am I choosing the right kind of breaks - not just escapes, but moments that restore me?

As we grow older, very few of us continue to enjoy the travel.

We start dreading the hassles; the pressure, the unpredictability, the constant motion.

And in doing so, we often forget the simplest joy, just being present on the path.

So, I return to the question:

Am I a hodophile - not of places, but of life journey.

If the journey feels heavy lately, take 15 minutes to pause with me.

No techniques. No tools. No pressure.

Just a moment to reconnect with yourself.

You can just reserve your 15-minute slot using the link in the comment section.

That small moment of presence might just be the kindest gift you give yourself today.
