I was on a train, surrounded by the usual hustle and bustle, when something caught my eye—a row of bags neatly placed on the luggage carrier above. At first glance, everything seemed in perfect order. Each bag was neatly placed in its spot, just as it should be. But then, something about Bag 2 struck me as odd.
There it was, tucked among the others, yet somehow different.
It wasn’t the color or the size, but the way it was placed. I just had a
feeling that it would take a bit more effort to pull down than the others.
As the train chugged on, I couldn’t help but think how much
this mirrored life. We often try to keep everything in place, organized, and
under control. But then, something unexpected comes along—a priority that demands
our immediate attention. And suddenly, our perfectly arranged plans are
disrupted.
Bag 2 became a symbol of that disruption. To get to it, you
would have to move other bags around, maybe even struggle a bit. Just like in
life, when a new challenge forces us to shift things, to make space, and to
adapt.
So there I was, on this ordinary train ride, staring at an
ordinary row of bags, and realizing that sometimes, it’s the little things—like
Bag 2—that remind us of the bigger picture. We can plan all we want, but life
will always find a way to shake things up. This causes lot of stress but challenging
us to adjust and grow.
What’s your Bag 2 today? And how will you rearrange things to
make room for it?
