Teacher And The Stick

Good teachers hold the stick

But never uses it to beat the student who does not work 

Taps it on the floor, board and bench

To garner the attention of every student 

Uses it as a support to lean on And shows the different emotions 

Points out the rights and wrongs committed 

And directs towards the path To which the student is destined 

Even the little push made now and then 

encourage the student to fly over the moon 

Good teachers hold the stick Only as a magic wand
