Don't Analyze Stillness, Experience it!

Suswasa and his friends were out on a long drive.

They stopped at a small food joint for lunch.

Had a sumptuous meal.

As they got back on the road,

everyone started talking about how delicious the food was.

And Suswasa smiled…

“While eating, did anyone think about

how metabolism works?

how neurons respond?

what happens inside the brain?”

No one did.

Because they were simply… experiencing the food.

Suswasa continued …

Lately, I see something similar with meditation.

So much effort to explain—

brain activity, alpha, beta, gamma waves…

All of it interesting.

All of it useful.

But not necessary to experience stillness.

Just a few moments of being still…

And something shifts.

A quiet calmness emerges.

A small space appears—

where you can actually choose your next thought.

Stillness is not something to analyze.

It is something to experience.
