I am over the moon!
Is an expression of exhilarating
feeling!
Don’t you want that feeling?
I know today is Monday!
However, If you want that
exhilarating feel,
Then pay heed to what Charles Duke
says –
“Plan, Practice, Perform”
Charles Duke is one of the only 12
people who walked on the moon!
And he was the youngest among them
all (aged 36 years then) and that record hold good even after 50 years.
He also had a crucial role in the lunar
module touch down with less than 30 seconds of fuel left in the tank!
He attributes all his achievements
to the 3 Ps “Plan, Practice, Perform” training received at NASA.
The middle ‘P’ practice is what
connects planning and performing.
Here’s what one of the participants
practicing all the micro-practices meticulously shared in yesterday’s session
on meditation.
“I am becoming joyful for no
particular reason, experiencing deep sleep, more aware of thoughts and hence
able just to drop the nagging thoughts. My friends have noticed that I am
much calmer now. I am also becoming more creative”
He could achieve this in two weeks
of practice which didn’t take much of his time as all those practices are
integrated into the day-to-day activities!
This person had expressed earlier
that before joining my course, he had read many books and watched many videos
on Youtube, but was unable to experience a true meditative state!
Now, he can plan his day and
perform well because of continuous practice!
