Google will not help !

 Why there are so many types of meditations and which one to choose?

These methods are not aligned to my customs, culture and traditions!

Are you also facing this dilemma and is a hurdle to take up meditation?

Google will not help here! J

First let me share what meditation is  - learnt from my experimentation with meditation;

Meditation is just being in awareness, awareness where choosing one experience over the other ceases. And that is our true identity!

There are basically three approaches to get there.

1. Physical endurance is given importance

2. Mental endurance is given importance.

3. Combination of the above two.

Now, these three approaches gradually gathered the customs, culture and traditions of the region where the practices were conceived and propagated.

Therefore we see hundreds and hundreds of ways!

Now, irrespective of the method chosen, we have to involve all four aspects of our being.

Body, Senses, Thoughts  & Emotions.

Now, with proper facilitation, a right combination can be found - to be in meditation!

That’s the secret behind de-stress and rejuvenate on the go!

And this way, the dilemma of confronting with customs, culture and traditions and type of meditation can be overcome!
